Art can be all around us, even in the recurrent ripples of peaceful ponds. French-based artist Phillipe Parreno explores the sight-sound connection through his latest piece Water Lilies. This aquatic sound installation can be found in the pond outside The Beyeler Foundation in Switzerland through September 30th. The sound waves are created by underwater speakers that produce uniquely patterned ripples that mimic the appearance of water lilies. Learn more about Parreno and his aquatic sounds here.
